The Sims 3

PC - Electronic Arts
The Sims 3 (if you have any questions please comment) is a fun game that is almost entirely controlled by mouse. It is similar to The Sims 2 but has good improvements in the graphics and additions to clothing, house items etc... as well as excellent advances in the style of game play which allows your Sims to do more than they could before, whereas before you would have to get a cab into the town centre or other neighbourhoods and wait for 2 minutes as it slowly loads but now your Sims can roam wherever they like, there is no wait and even better you can drive there, your Sims can for the first time drive a car.
The game in whole is a life simulation were you create your Sim (person) or multiple Sims (people) were you can customise everything from their race, age, sex, name and appearance (Casual, formal, swimwear etc...) to their future aspirations in life and personality. Every field has many different choices to choose from. After creating your Sim you will advance to a town depending on which one you prefer and after choosing town you will choose a house.
Unfortunately new Sims have a budget and you will only be able to select from a range of the more affordable houses but bear in mind there are residents that are already moved in and you can play in their households if you get bored of your own, there are also cheats online that you can use to boost your cash. When in a household you can do pretty much everything that you can do with a real house, you can build new rooms and decorate using paint, wallpaper and many more options as well as adding necessities such as beds, toilets, baths, showers, cookers etc... And if you have money left over it can be spent on luxuries that range from Plasma TVs and cars to gym equipment and Jacuzzis but obviously the more money you have the more luxuries you can afford. Once you have moved in you can control your Sims throughout their day to day life, decide when they sleep and eat and choose their career and whether they marry and have children or die alone, it’s your choice.
The only negatives are that the screen is now navigated by holding down the right key on the mouse and dragging your way around by moving the mouse rather than in Sims 2 were you just use the mouse to navigate, the game is also quite glitch and slow on some older computers or laptops.
Overall if you are a fan of the Sims 2 then you will enjoy this next generation of The Sims.
