Top 10 Games of 2011 (so far...jpg

Here is a quick look back over the first 6 months of 2011, as we highlight our favourite ten games of the year so far..

In no particular order:

1.
Portal 2 (Valve) - Valve keeps up it's unrivaled closed captioning in this fab sequel which doesn't disapoint.

2. Attractor (TheGameKitchen/AccessAble Games) - A lesson in making an 'accessible' game.

3. PewPewPew - (Incredible Ape) - Imaginative hands free gaming at it's most fun.

4.
Portem (Mirrow)"... a virtual world that can be explored using a single switch."

5.
Sega Rally Online Arcade (SEGA) - The arcade racer finally makes its way onto XBox 360 and PS3.

6.
Arachnophobia - Episode 1 (EyeTrackGames) - Made specifically for use on Tobii's C12, C15 and PCEye, this first episode delights in it's eye-control specific gameplay.

7. Proteus (Twisted Tree Games) - "...no fighting, no enemies, no guns...just explore."

8.
The Night Jar (Somethin' Else) - Highlight's the potential for mainstream audio gaming with it's simple and slick gameplay.

9. MLB11: The Show (Sony San Diego) - Perfectly demontrates how a complex sports game can be simplified without any detrimental effects on the gameplay.

10.  Dirt 3 (Codemasters) - Codies continue their drive into inclusivity with more of their increasingly accessible driving assists.
