The game comes packaged with a Zapper attachment, which positions the wiimote and nunchuck into a comfortable position for gameplay. To aim your crosshair use the optical sensor and to turn direction point it to the left or right furthermost edges of the screen. For some activities you also need to move your position, which is done using the thumbstick on the nunchuck.

To fire an arrow use the ‘B’ button to zoom you can hold down the Z button. These controls encourage smooth accurate movements. The game itself revolves around a series of tasks designed to test and ultimately improve your crossbow handling. For some you are in a stationary position, some on foot and some on horseback. The targets similarly switch between static and moving targets. Link’s is a great pick up and play game, whilst also being challenging in the right places and a good introduction to using the wii Zapper.
