International cricket 2010 updates Ashes '09 with newer players, prizes and a slight improvement in the graphics.

It can be played in one or two player with an online experience available.

The controls remain the same and are easy to pick up using the game tutorial. There are changes to update the teams and there are prizes to be won that include new bats, gloves, and pads.

The game can be played as long or as short as you like, in test match mode whitch can get boring as it takes a long time but you can also play games as short as 5 overs in easy mode, medium or even hard.

The controls are simple combinations that are easy to pickup:

Batting: To bat you ain your shot with the left analogue stick, after this you have a choice of what style of shot you wish to play. To play a defensive stroke you press the square button, to attack the shot you press the X button and to loft the shot you press the circle Button or press nothing to leave the ball. You can then choose whether you play the shot on the front foot or back foot using R2 to play on the back foot and R1 to play on the front even though this will automatically choose if the player doesnt  press R1 or R2. the key to the batting is timing, there is a timing meter in the top right of the screen that shows how well or poorly timed your shot is after it has been played, poor shots can lead to edges and dismissals.
Last but not least triangle is to run.
You can toggle the camera view by using R3, so you can shoose it suit which camera view you like the most. there is broadcast infront of the batsman and 3rd person from behind the batsman.

Bowling: To bowl you must select a delivery to bowl from a selection of styles, e.g. for fast bowlers in and out swing and for spinners which way you spin the ball. Other deliviries consist of cutters, googlies, arm ball, straight ball etc... but the range of deliveries depends on the skill of the bowler.
Once a delivery has been chosen the bowler will start his run up and a timing meter will appear on the screen, you must the delivery correctly by pressing the button of the selected delivery at the correct time to bowl a good ball, bowl to early and it is likely to get hit for a boundary and bowl to late and it is a no ball, line, length and where you pitch the ball are also important. To increase or decrease spin or swing on the ball press R2 and L2. The fielding is automatic but to take catches you will become the fielder and must time the catch to take it and not drop it.
To toggle the camera view to one that suits you press R3.

Overall it is a good gaming experience.
