Hard Way's one key, side scrolling, distance gaining, completly addicting gameplay action plays like Canabalt and Epic Coaster. Like its stable mates, it is a fast paced game, requiring quick key (or switch) presses with accurate timing.
Using either the left mouse button, space bar or a switch set the control either, your aim is to gain the most distance (measured in metres) by using your sword to latch on to ropes, drop draw bridges and fend of attackers. Your one key will do all this for you, providing you get your timing correct.
Your Cursor must be positioned within the game window to play (when outside it pauses the game). Once the cursor is left inside the window you can replay the game once it has ended with one press of the your switch (when formatted to left click).
Hard Way is a welcome additon to this increasingly popular (with thanks to the huge success of Canabalt) genre, which is proving that exciting and absorbing gameplay can be found with just a single key.
