'Place blocks, build quads, get coverage, make music.'

Chime is a mixture of a ToneMatrix with Tetris like puzzle gameplay, combining to form one challenging, creative and mesmerizing game.

Choose between timed or 'free' play modes. To move on to the next level (and track) you must create 50% coverage of the screen. This is done by forming quads  by positioning the various shapes which appear. Experimentation is encouraged, allowing you to play with the different effects the position of the shapes has on the sound of the music.

The controls are fairly straightforward with the d-pad or left thumbstick moving the shape around the screen. Use either 'LB' or 'X' to rotate a shape anti-clockwise and 'RB' or 'B'  to rotote it clockwise. Alternatively, one button can be used to rotate it solely in one direction. 'A' positions a piece and 'Y' can show you your coverage of the screen.

Chime is a fantastic first release from the Charity One Big Game, with more than 60 percent of the purchase price going to it's children's charity partners. GameBase is looking forward to many more of this quality.

Trial it and buy it (400 points) on XBox Live.
