Ashes Cricket 2009 - The aim of this game is to achieve what every cricket fan out there has dreamed of, "Taking your team to the top & winning the ashes world cup" but you don't have to jump in at the deep end because theres the training / practice tutorial that helps you!

This game is very easy on the controls department. For when your batting all you will need to do is aim where you would like to send the ball when its delivered, there are 3 types of shots available:...

- 1. The defensive block. to avoid those dodgy bowls. to do this just press the square button. - 2. The normal stroke. to try and get easy boundaries, without too much risk of being caught-out! This is done by pressing the X button. & - 3. Is called The Loft, which is the best way to get those big-sixes, press the circle button to do this, all of the above shot require you to hold the direction you desire to send the ball whilst you press the shot type of your choice, but be careful because it doesn't matter which shot you choose, if the timing of the swing isn't spot on, your out!

Now bowling is a lot more sophisticated, there are lots more different deliveries to choose from, with some type of bowls you do need to use the L1, L2, R1 and/or R2 buttons. as i mentioned before the training / practice tutorial will help build up confidence.
