With its simple and satisfying gameplay making it such a success on portable touchscreen devices, Angry Birds has made its way onto console (PS3 review to follow)  and now PC.

The PC version uses the same gameplay mechanics as the touchscreen version, but instead of dragging back the catapult with your finger to launch the birds you use your cursor.

The menu options are paired down and well sized and whilst the interaction area during gameplay is quite a small area there is no time element to rush you as you perfect your angles.

If you are planning on playing using onscreen mouse options for eye-gaze or head mouse use etc then you will need to run the game in a window. There is no option in the onscreen menu's to change this so you will need someone to hold 'Alt/Enter' to change it to a windowed version.

For those unfamiliar with the aim of the game, your objective is to use the angry birds as missiles in the catapult to hit your enemy, the green pigs, who are housed inside or on top ofof structures. You must hit all of the pigs using your limited supply of birds to pass a level and move onto the next. Often you will need to find a way or destroying the buildings to reach the pigs.

With around 200 levels Angry Birds on the PC offers hours of challenging play, which thanks to the simple mechanics and controls make it available to all types of pointer input methods.
