Online Multiplayer Gaming Intro Guide
By BillGameBase
One of the great things about gaming is the competitive aspect. When playing against the computer, no matter how smart the AI is, it can sometimes start to feel repetitive. Therefore, playing against a real life actual human being offers the added challenge and interest of more randomised gameplay with the added competitiveness of playing against and with another human being.
Playing online makes gaming an increasingly sociable activity allowing you to play with or against friends without being in the same room (or even continent) aswell as make new gaming friends.
Look out for terms such as 'Network Features,' Online Multiplayer' etc on the back of a games box to see if a game has online gaming features.
Conecting your console to the internet also allows you to download and try demos of games to see if the subject and gameplay is right for you before buying the full version.
XBOX 360
To play others online you must pay a subscription for XBOX Live Gold.
To connect to your internet either use an ethernet cable or for a wireless connection you need an XBox Wireless Adapter.

Eye Pet
By BillGameBase

PS3 Only- Sony/ London Studio
Eye Pet goes someway to using
the PS3 Camera to it's full potential. Using both body
movements and Augmented Reality (AR) to interact with a
virtual pet.
Once you have set up your camera, taking into consideration,
lighting, height, position, space etc using the helpful video
guidelines at the start of the game, you are ready to help hatch
your Eye Pet egg. Initially, interacting with your pet and the
virtual objects by watching yourself on screen can be a little
disconcerting, but soon becomes natural as you learn what type of
movements/ positions of the AR card are
required.
Bayonetta
By BillGameBase
PS3/Xbox 360 (tested on both) - PLATINUMGAMES INC/ SEGA
'Being bad never felt so good.'
'The last survivor survivor of an ancient Witch clan keeping the balance beteween light, dark and chaos. With ocer-the-top action in extreme evnvironments. Bayonetta will lure you into new realms of intensity.'
The description on the back of the box sums Bayonetta up pretty well, with 'over-the-top' and 'intensity' being the dominating features of the game. This can only be seen as positive. With many big games titles becoming more and more concerned over realism and accuracy, and, perhaps fairly, accused of taking themselves a little too seriously ocasionally. Bayonetta comes as a breath of fresh air, and a pretty big lungful it is too.
Missile Strike
By One Switch
This is another highly accessible title from Graeme's Free Games that offers a choice of ways to play. The game can be played with the keyboard or mouse with three modes aimed at opening up the game to one-switch, eye-tracker and head-tracker players. You can tweak the game play difficulty settings too (recommended) to make the game more fun for you, i.e. not too hard and not too easy.
