A nice little pointer controlled
game made up of 3 challenges based on the legend of Merlin and
Camelot. The aim is to stop Nimueh the Witch who is sending

spells on the trees and rocks, which line the
route.

PC (opens ina separate window) - OZDY
This is a pointer-controlled game requiring some timing skills in the later levels. It also demands imaginative thinking to make sure all you hungry shapes are fed. A fantastic selection of online one switch (amongst others) games all in one place. This includes Kurling, Hoop Stars (Basketball), Pop the bubbles and Snakes and Ladders. There is also a ‘creative’ section on the site with picture and music making activities including an onscreen piano for touchscreen or pointer controlled play and ‘early mouse movement’ activity, which doesn’t require any button presses. Just dip the cursor in the different pots and paint away.
Ruckblende
By Bill (R&D, SpecialEffect)
PC - Nils Deneken
An interactive short story more than a game, Rückblende lets you explore the protagonists childhood past at the location of a remotewoodland hut. As you wonder about you remember events and piece memories together. It is pointer controlled and for most interactive icons you simply place the cursor over them and for some you need to click. This makes it a good activity for eye or head pointer control practice.
ToneMatrix, inudge and Tink
By Bill (R&D, SpecialEffect)
PC - (all open in a separate window) Andre Michelle, inudge and William Pilgrim
Andre Michelle's ToneMatrix allows the user to create music using a simple and direct interface. Using a pointer you click on the cells to highlight them. As the sequence loops round it plays these highlighted cells.
The inudge works on the same principal, but with the addition of an extra 7 layers, allowing you to build up sounds to create a more complex composition.
William Pilgrim's Tink offers both pointer input and switch input. The two modes of switch control can be alternated using the 3 key. One moves along the cells, with one switch press (replicating the Space bar) changing the direction of the scanning and holding or a quick tap selecting the cell. The second, moves the selector round different cells randomly with a switch press selecting a cell.
Doeo
By Bill (R&D, SpecialEffect)
PC (opens in a separate window) - Raitendo
The challenge is to collect as many ‘Doeo’ as you can in the 40 second levels. In easy mode you must collect at least 100 to progress and in hard 200. You need fairly fast reactions, but no mouse clicks are needed. Placing your cursor over a Doeo collects it. This makes ‘Doeo’ playable with various pointer input methods, including head and eye control. The sound and graphics are vibrant and fun making this a lively quick challenge.
Groovy Series

PC - Sibelius
The ‘Groovy Series’ of music making programmes comprises of Groovy Shapes, Groovy Jungle and Groovy City. Animations
This website is full of high quality fun games to play. In ‘Hide
‘n’ Sheep’ you have to follow, with your eyes, the barrel that
the sheep is hidden under as they are switched about with the
others. When the barrels stop moving left mouse
click on the barrel that you thing the sheep is under.
If correct you progress to the next level. If not ‘Game
Over.’
Puki
By Bill (R&D, SpecialEffect)
PC (opens in a separate window) - Grant Skinner
Don’t be fooled by their cute appearance, the Puki are a vicious bunch. Whilst, the complete controls are fairly complex (w,a,s,d = directional, shift = crouch, space = shield, mouse = look, aim and left click = shoot) the game can be successfully played solely with the mouse.
You automatically move forwards through the corridors, progressing through the levels. The Puki come at you quite quickly, so good accuracy and fast reactions are required. Puki suits all methods of accurate pointer control including head and eye control users. http://www.gskinner.com/games/puki/
