The Logitech MX Air as a head mouse
By HeadbanGER
Hello there,
this is my first review here at GameBase. I want to introduce a homemade head mouse which is affordable and easy to put together.
In my s
earch for an alternative to the built-in
gyroscope of the Emotiv EPOC I stumbled upon the
gyro mouse MX Air from Logitech which works on the desk
and in the air. I asked myself if it would work on the
head as well. So I purchased one online for 65,-€
I mo
unted the Logitech MX Air mouse
at the top of the Sennheiser PC 360
G4ME headset as follows. I attached a square velcro tape with
superglue at the bottom of the mouse and wound a piece of velcro
band round the headband of the headset.

Space Gate
By BillGameBase
PC (opens in a browser) - BadgerManufacture/Odo Games
Space Gate is a vertical scrolling shooter (based on games like Xenon 2 and Cave), which uses an auto fire and can allow you to play by just moving the cursor and without the use of any buttons (once you've navigated the menu).
This pointer movement only gameplay is available when playing the 'Arcade' version of the game. Your space ship essentially replaces your cursor when within the game window, giving you full control over the movement of the ship. Difficulty options also allow players to get familier with the games controls, by starting with the 'Easy' option.

Tennis Challenge
By BillGameBase
PC (opens in a browser) - Yahoo/Shockwave
Those with a deft touch with their head mouse should take up the challenge on court with this fast paced and demanding pointer controlled browser based tennis game.
Moving the cursor around moves your player (on the near side of the court) backwards, forwards and from side to side (no dragging is needed). A left click will swing your racket. Combine the correct positioning of your player along with a well timed swing and the result is a hit ball.

Kerixep
By BillGameBase
PC (opens in a browser) - Fast Games
In Kerixep your aim is to change all the white squares on each level to red squares. You do this by moving your cursor (no dragging is required) over them. You must do this, however, in one continuous line without becoming trapped in a dead end. If you do get stuck, use a left mouse click to retry the level.
The gameplay is very similar to Cuboid on the PS3, and similarly it has that 'I'll have just one more go' effect as you struggle with levels that tease and test your problem solving abilities.

Apophis 2029
By BillGameBase
PC (opens in a browser) - Shannon Larrett
Apophis 2029 is a missile strike/space invaders style game. You control the tank at the bottom of the screen which moves from left to right, avoiding and firing on the incoming meteorites. The tank will follow your cursor as you move it from side to side (no dragging is required). To fire you use a left click.
The meteorites come at you quickly so quick pointer movement is neccessary to progress as are accurate mouse clicks or (as in the video below) a dwell select set to a quick speed, acting like an autofire.
