Looking to be pointed in the right direction for advice about access to nintendo wii games for a young girl with spinal injury resulting in tetraplegia. She wants to be able to continue to play as many games as possible with her younger brother. Access would be via switches in the main. She does have a small amount of head movement and is able to communicate well. Some initial ideas would be great so we can try and get equipment at the centre to show to the family and allow her to try things out Many thanks Paula

Hi Paula,

Take a look at the Wii hat here: http://www.broadenedhorizons.com/wiimote.htm

The controller has switch inputs for the A and B button which could be positioned for head use.

Ill email with further info,

Bill

Hi Paula,

Quick update. We have got the hat and are adapting the Wiimote at the moment (giving it switch connections, making it lighter etc). We will then test it with some games and send it over for you to try via the SpecialEffect Loan Library Project.
