Hello following what you do with interest. If I wanted to have a laptop that is accessible to some of the games and adaptations available, is there a minimum spec I should be looking at, monitor size, etc?
I'm thinking whoever uses the laptop would have headpointer and/or switch access. I'm saving my pocket money for eye gaze...

;-)

Cheers,

Aidan.

Hi Aidan,

From our experience using SmartNav head mice they seem to run on anything as do switches via an interface such as the Don Jonston ones we use.

What will determine the spec you require will be the types of games you would like to run on them.

For instance if you wanted to use it for some switch games and some casual games for the head mouse such as Peggle etc, again the spec will only have to be standard.

Hope that is of some use :)

Thanks Bill,

I'm a bit of an old fogie when it comes to gaming (not quick enough reactions!) but I would like anyone who uses the laptop to be able to access the games that they like via switches and/or a headpointer. Now I know it's the game spec that's the main thing I can start looking.

It's got to be laptop as I don't have a base (yet).

Cheers,

Aidan.
