"Get your game on!  Any abilities or limitations - No arm movement, grasp, finger dexterity, or even head movement required! If you can move your tongue and blink an eye you can play!"

The GimpGear Versatility switch interface provides switch inputs for all of the buttons found on a standard PS3 or XBox 360 type controller as well as d-pad and left and right control stick directional functions. In addition, it allows various joysticks to be plugged in from the wide range available on the Broadened Horizons site.

In this article we are going to focus on their Chin/Mouth/Tongue Controller which is used via the Versatility interface.

The controller is designed to be controlled using either, or a combination of, the mouth, chin and/or tongue. You use a mounting arm to position it in a comfortable position using optional joystick extensions or tongue cups  to make operation easier if needed.

Also available are four aditional buttons added to the front of the hand grips which are positioned for accessing with your mouth etc, which can be plugged into your choice of button functions using the Versatility interface. You can also add your own switches to the interface for additional button functions, which can then be positioned on the controller or within easy reach.

I have found that for FPS' using the switch placed under the right control stick for 'Left Analog Forward' to be an easier way to control movement.

Great work on the demo video of our GimpGear Versatility video game controller for individuals with upper extremity limitations! You Will Have To Review the Ultimate Arcade and Switch Enabled Wiimote Controls! I recently introduced a new 5 Switch Micro Digital Joystick with Pushbutton that fits right in front and between the 2 analog joysticks and 4 buttons on the wings for chin/mouth control and has been very popular with the first users! posted new photos a few days ago at http://www.broadenedhorizons.com/versatility.htm
